Ready to volunteer with Roots-Leaves Volunteer Laos? Getting started is simple and straightforward. Follow these easy steps to begin your journey with us.
Choose a Project and Submit Application
Select the volunteer program that interests you and complete our online application form. Submitting an application does not commit you to joining the program; it simply allows us to learn more about you, provide additional information and ensure the project is a good fit for your interests and skills.
Receive Program Information
Within 48 hours (2 working days), you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your application. Our Communication Manager will answer any questions you may have and discuss available dates and project details with you.
Confirm and Reserve Your Placement
Once you decide to join the program, we will reserve your placement and provide all the information and guidance you need to prepare for your volunteer experience. You can then arrange your travel and send us your flight details once your booking is confirmed.
Receive Welcome Pack!
After your placement is confirmed, we will send you a comprehensive Welcome Pack containing important information, including project details, contact information, accommodation details, local customs, dress code guidelines, invoices other useful resources to help you prepare for your stay in Laos.
Make Your Payment
We offer a simple and flexible payment process. You may either make the full payment in advance via bank transfer or pay the full program fee upon your arrival in Laos.
